What is TEK-KOOL?

TEK-KOOL® is a frame mounted hydraulic oil cooler designed specifically for trucking and agricultural applications, including fuels, compressed gases, food grade, crude oil, chemical, vacuum pumps, and air seeders.

Why do I need a hydraulic cooler?

Excessive heat in your equipment’s hydraulic system reduces the efficiency of your system and the life of your hydraulic oil, resulting in lower power and higher operating costs. A hydraulic cooler not only cools and filters the hydraulic oil, but eliminates the need for large hydraulic reservoirs saving weight and space which in turn allows for more product to be carried.

The TEK-KOOL has a robust design by adding strength & rigidity using heavier gauge steel, a reinforced reservoir, and a heavy gauge top plate. The suction port is welded in with a reinforcing ring and an auxiliary drain port is standard. Only the highest quality materials are used in the TEK-KOOL, and with our one piece mount design, it means less weak points.

Debris stuck in the cooler can cause leakage, so the Tek-Kool was designed with the brazed plate heat exchanger set back from the mounting face by ¾” which allows for any incoming debris to fall out of the bottom of the cooler. With the TEK-KOOL width being 12 inches, compared to the 9 inch width on our competitors, it allows for better airflow for cooling.

Every TEK-KOOL is fully tested before shipment. TEK-KOOL uses hex head hardware which don’t clog and allow for easier service with a crescent wrench and the direction valve is serviceable. We offer multiple mounting options and the possible custom configurations.

TEK-KOOL uses a custom 90-degree sight Gauge with clear Borosilicate glass and thermometer card which aids in it’s readability in tight spaces. The glass sight will not cloud or leak like a plastic gauge would.
